"Eight steps" sounds like a lot until you realize it's really just one visit roughly every six weeks across the growing season. The idea isn't to overload your lawn with product, it's to show up at the right moment, again and again, so weeds never get a foothold and your turf never has to recover from neglect.

Why timing beats quantity

A single fertilizer application on the wrong week does very little. Pre-emergent weed control applied even a few weeks late lets crabgrass germinate anyway. The value of an 8-step program isn't the number eight, it's that every visit lines up with what North Texas turf and weather are actually doing at that moment in the calendar.

What the eight visits generally cover

• Late-winter pre-emergent - stopping crabgrass and other summer weeds before they ever germinate.
• Early-spring green-up feeding - balanced nutrition as Bermuda, Zoysia and St. Augustine break dormancy.
• Late-spring weed control + feeding - post-emergent cleanup on broadleaf weeds as turf fills back in.
• Early-summer nutrition - feeding for color and density heading into peak heat.
• Summer stress support - helping turf hold up through the hottest stretch of the year.
• Late-summer spot treatment - targeted post-emergent control on anything that pushed through.
• Fall fertilization - rebuilding root reserves before turf slows down.
• Winterizer - a final feeding that protects roots through winter and sets up spring green-up.

The lawns that look best in July are the ones that got the right treatment in February.

What you'll actually notice

Most customers don't notice individual visits. They notice the trend. Fewer weeds each spring. Color that holds through August instead of fading by June. A lawn that bounces back from a dry stretch instead of browning out and staying that way.

Pairing it with the right aftercare

Between visits, the best thing you can do is water as directed, keep pets and kids off treated turf for about 24 hours, and hold off mowing for a day or two after certain applications. We'll always tell you if a specific visit needs anything different.
